The “Organization for the Liberation and Development of Afghanistan’s Women” is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to combat discrimination, injustice, inequality, and gender-based traditions and policies that have impacted the fundamental and human rights of women of Afghanistan.
In light of the situation following the fall of Afghanistan to an ideological and tribal group, women of Afghanistan have been excluded from all aspects of public life. The hardships and deprivations they face are in stark contrast to the rights and status of women in other parts of the world. The difficulties, and struggles of Afghanistan’s women in all dimensions and forms are incomparable to the struggles or challenges of women in other regions of the world.
The “Organization for the Liberation and Development of Afghanistan’s Women” believes that achieving justice, gender equality, and equal rights for women (which are the key factors for societal development and progress), can be made possible through awareness, empowerment, endeavor and dynamism of society, particularly women.
We at the “Organization for the Liberation and Development of Afghanistan’s Women” are committed to providing online educational opportunities for girls who have been deprived of schooling, as well as step-by-step training programs to educate women about their rights. We aim to train professional, responsible, and volunteer teams to continuously and consistently teach and engage with women in their communities.
Furthermore, through programs such as seminars and training sessions, we strive to increase women’s knowledge about their rights, roles, and positions in society. We will do everything in our power to create the groundwork for positive social change, giving women the opportunity to recognize their value, roles, and positions as independent human beings, to understand and protect their rights, and to learn how to advocate for holding governments and the United Nations accountable to their commitments in protecting women’s rights and recognizing gender apartheid. Additionally, after completing our training programs, women will learn how to promote awareness and empowerment among other women.
This organization also offers psychological and social counseling services for girls and women who, due to educational restrictions or experiences of violence and imprisonment, are dealing with psychological challenges, supporting them in their mental recovery and enhancing their abilities.
Join us in breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for Afghan women and girls to thrive.
